On December 27, 2021 in advance of Young@Heart’s year-end virtual concert, “Get the Party Started,” Lori and Vitek got on air with Bill Newman of WHMP and Bob Cilman, founder and director of Young@Heart. In the show, they talk about how Young@Heart’s virtual concert landed in the Divine Theater, what’s up next for Gateway in the new year, and how the Divine Theater got it’s name.

“We wanted to do a show where people were performing on a stage,” Bob Cilman told Bill Newman. “I came down to look at the space for possible rehearsals…Vitek showed me this space they had created during the pandemic and I almost dropped to my knees when I saw it. It’s a jewel of a theater that they’ve created. It hit me that this is the perfect place to shoot this show.”

“It’s a statement of why we built Gateway City Arts,” said Lori. “This is very community-minded.”
