Tom Raymo

After a 20-year career in Information Technology, Tom Raymo has returned to his first love, drawing and illustration, as well as sharing and communicating the world of science and natural history. As a natural science illustrator, Tom creates detailed artwork of birds, wildlife, plants, and more. He lives atop a mountain near Shelburne Falls with his wife and too many cats.

Tom’s work was a jury selection in the 2020 Northeast Fine Arts Exhibition in Ware, Massachusetts, where he was awarded Honorable Mention in the Drawing category.

The drawing Tom has submitted to the 3rd Annual Small Works Exhibit was originally created for the 2020 #Birdtober online art challenge, where artists were challenged to draw or paint a different bird every day during the month of October 2020.
