About the artist
I have been taking photographs since my boyhood in East Africa, starting with a Kodak Brownie camera. After emigrating to the United States, I stayed with B&W film but graduated to more complex cameras and did my own darkroom work. Currently, my photography is digital and includes both color and B&W, but the emphasis is the same: to capture interesting combinations of light and shadow. In addition, I try to raise awareness of the importance of the natural world around us and of which we are a part.
My proceeds will be donated to the Mass Audubon fund to purchase and preserve the Bear Hole Reservoir as a wildlife sanctuary.
