Buy TicketsKing, Muddy Waters and Robin Trower. With the success of their debut, self-titled RCA album, “FAT,” the boys performed several times alongside the original Allman Brothers with Duane Allman and Barry Oakley.
Subsequent to their debut album release by RCA in 1970, the group performed at Madison Square Garden, The Capital Theatres and the Strawberry Fields Festival to name a few. The band also formed an Indie label, Dream Merchant Records, and produced their second album, “Footloose.”
Working with producers Mick Ronson (David Bowie, Bob Dylan) and Murray Krugman (Blue Oyster Cult) FAT recorded their final album for Atlantic Records with producer Felix Pappalardi (Cream, Mountain) at Criteria Studios in Miami and were personally signed to the Atlantic label by record-industry legend, Ahmet Ertegun.
