HIVEBANE: (noun) an infectious remedy to one’s own reality, otherwise corrupted by a thoughtless cause or common belief.
Formed in summer of 2017 and emerging out of Springfield, Massachusetts, hard rock band Hivebane have come into the scene with a resolute fury. A 2018 acoustic EP aptly entitled “Prologue” saw the band’s premiere release of music, including the first rendition of their debut single “Shed My Skin”.
Born and raised on a broad musical pedigree, Hivebane does not fit into one particular box but rather chooses to live outside it altogether. Their sonic brand combines aggressive guitar riffs and no-nonsense rhythm with soaring vocals and melodic harmony, laying its musical foundation in a sweet spot between organic originality and mainstream appeal.
