Dicey Riley (Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day Event)

Dicey Riley is a seven-piece Celtic Rock band from Northampton, Massachusetts. The Lineup includes a fiddle, a bagpipe, a rock rhythm section, a male lead vocal and a female lead vocal. Dicey calls their style of Celtic rock “Alt-Irish”. Alt-Irish music blends alternative rock and Celtic music; Alt-Irish music honors and incorporates traditional music and instrumentation while also having the feeling, vibrancy, and sincerity of rock music. The Dicey Riley repertoire includes traditional Celtic songs played in the Alt-Irish style, modern songs re-arranged in the Alt-Irish style (e.g. Gorillaz and OutKast) and some killer Alt-Irish originals. Dicey Riley has played with some of the most successful Celtic rock musicians and for decades they have been playing festivals, music venues, social clubs, bars and nightclubs in New England and New York. 2023 will be Dicey Riley’s 25th birthday. Dicey Riley’s first show was in November 1998 in Springfield Massachusetts.
