TEACH A CLASS
Any of our facilities can be rented for teaching classes. Depending on your discipline, we will select the space most appropriate for you (i.e. art studio, dance studio, woodshop, etc.). As a space renter you are not an employee of Gateway City Arts, and have full control over the content of your class once your class proposal is approved. However, we do work with you to promote your class, and list it on our website, newsletter and facebook group. You collect registration and tuition payments.
How to Rent:
Upon agreement of class proposals, we offer an affordable percentage split to share the benefits and risks involved in running a class. 70% of your tuition income goes to you and 30% to Gateway City Arts. For one time workshops, rent is due after workshop is completed. For classes running in sessions, rent is due once all tuition has been collected. For ongoing classes, rent is due monthly. Gateway City Arts reserves the right to cancel any classes that are under-enrolled.
If a percentage split does not work for you other arrangements can be negotiated.
