How do I contact Gateway City Arts?

All questions pertaining to food, beverage, catering, rental space, or theater events please email hello@gatewaycityarts.com.

For questions about a show in The Music Hall at Gateway City Arts, please email info@dspshows. To inquire about band booking, email booking@dspshows.com.

Are animals allowed at GCA?

Service animals are the only animals allowed on the Gateway City Arts properties. Unfortunately, we cannot allow animals in the beer garden due the local food service laws.

Do you have a lost and found?

If you lost something at Gateway City Arts please email hello@gatewaycityarts.com and we will try to locate the item and store it in a safe location for pick up. If pickup is not an option, we will ship your item for a fee.

I am with an organization that wants to collaborate, how do I get in touch?

Please send us an email with your event, marketing, or fundraiser proposal to hello@gatewaycityarts.com for us to review.

Is there a dress code?

Gateway City Arts does not have a dress code, however we do reserve the right to refuse service to patrons dressed without a shirt, shoes, or attire covering private parts.

Concerts and Events

Is there an age limit for shows?

All of our events are 16+. Those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire performance. The parent/legal guardian must purchase their own ticket and remain within a few feet of the underage person. We reserve the right to ask for proof of a parent/legal guardian relationship. Patrons under the age of 21 may not consume alcohol under any circumstances, and any minor caught consuming alcohol, and/or anyone providing alcohol to a minor, will be asked to leave and turned over to law enforcement.

GCA is a safe, secure and fun environment, but as always, we recommend parents weigh the maturity level and personality of their individual child when deciding on the right age for their child to be allowed to attend concerts.

All shows at The Music Hall at Gateway City Arts are general admission.  For seated shows, seats are available on a first come, first served basis.  For standing room only shows there will be little to no seating available.  Those needing handicap accessible seating will be accommodated; we recommend contacting us ahead of time at info@dspshows.com to ensure proper arrangements.

Is there parking at Gateway City Arts?

While there is no specified lot, there is free street parking on Race Street and on the surrounding streets. The Ernest Prouxl Municipal Parking Facility is located .3 miles from Gateway City Arts at 505 Dwight St, Holyoke MA.

Is there handicap accessible seating available?

Gateway City Arts is 100% handicap accessible. The Music Hall and The Famous Cafe are on the ground level, all other event spaces and Judd’s are accessible by ramps.

Those needing handicap accessible seating will be accommodated; we recommend contacting us ahead of time at info@dspshows.com to ensure proper arrangements.

Do you offer discounts for military/veterans, seniors and students?

We offer 10% off with a valid ID at The Famous Cafe and Judds. Discounts cannot be applied to alcohol. At this time we cannot offer discounts for concerts or events.

Is smoking allowed in the venue?

Gateway City Arts is a non-smoking facility per Massachusetts law. This includes vapor pens and e-cigarettes. Smoking is permitted outside in the beer garden during the off-season only.

Will I be searched upon entering the venue?

All bags and backpacks are subject to search. Weapons, illegal drugs, and outside food and alcohol are not allowed. Anyone found with these items on their person will be asked to leave or escorted off the premises. Water bottles are allowed if empty.

Can I bring in my camera?

Cameras are not permitted unless approved by the venue/artist.

Where do I buy tickets to an event?

All of our events are on sale through Eventbrite. We strongly encourage our customers to purchase tickets directly through Gateway City Arts’ or DSP Shows’ websites. The validity of tickets purchased through a third-party seller is not guaranteed. Entrance into Gateway City Arts is only guaranteed with a valid ticket.

Where can I buy tickets without the fee?

Stay tuned as we will soon announce weekly hours at The Music Hall where tickets will be for purchase in person without a fee.  

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?

Yes, tickets can be transferred simply by sending your PDF ticket/QR code to whomever you’d like to transfer your ticket to.

Food and Dining

Is there food at concerts/events?

Yes, Judd’s Restaurant and Bar is open Wed-Sat, 5-10pm and for events.

During events in The Music Hall,  take out from Judd’s will be available at the food counter. Food and drink will be served on paper and plastic to ensure safety in a crowded environment.
